Hey, I'm Luis
Language Enthusiast. Digital Nomad. Blogger.
My Journey
I grew up in the beautiful region of Galicia, Spain, surrounded by green landscapes, ancient Celtic heritage, and a language that taught me early on that the world is more diverse than it first appears. That curiosity about languages and cultures never left me.
After studying software engineering and diving into the world of QA (Quality Assurance), I discovered I loved breaking things—in the best way possible. Finding bugs, improving systems, and ensuring software works flawlessly became my professional passion.
But I wanted more than just a desk job. So I became a digital nomad, working remotely while exploring the world, learning new languages, and experiencing different cultures firsthand.
Why Wanderlinguist?
I created this blog to document my journey and share what I've learned along the way. Whether you're a fellow digital nomad, a language learner, a QA professional, or just someone curious about life abroad, I hope you'll find something valuable here.
This is a space for authentic stories, practical advice, and honest reflections on the challenges and joys of living a location-independent life while continuously learning and growing.
What's Next?
I’m just following curiosity wherever it leads.
I’ve just come back from a three-month adventure across Asia, and I’m slowly turning that experience into stories worth sharing. The kind that might make you rethink your next trip.
For now, the plan is simple: explore more places (especially across Eastern Europe and Asia), keep improving my German and Portuguese, and stay open to whatever language decides to find me next.
This space is where it all comes together — the places, the people, the words. No strict roadmap, just curiosity leading the way.
